Acquavilla
Acquavilla
The Acquavilla House turistic unit is settled on the recovered remains of two 18th century buildings (a ‘lagar’ - a press where olive oil used to be produced - and a water mill). The accommodations include two suites (equipped with a refrigerator and a microwave), four twin rooms and two twin rooms (of which one is prepared to receive guests with physical disabilities) and a vast outdoor space in a natural environment. The location is a central and privileged one, in the centre of Portugal, distancing 150km from the Lisbon airport and 150km from the Oporto airport. This territory welcomes you with an open spirit and offers you “the best of two worlds”: the restlessness of the coastline and the serenity of the mountains, the majesty of nature and the nobility of culture, the authenticity of tradition and the innovation of tradition and the innovation of the modern, the magic of the unknown and the comfort of the hospitality. From Acquavilla there are several important places/ to visit: Coimbra, Tomar, Batalha, Alcobaça (all four categorized as Cultural Heritage by Unesco), and Figueira da Foz, Nazaré, Penela, Soure, Porto de Mós, Leiria and Montemor-o-Velho.
